About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet and make new friends around the world while exploring new places. I feel an integral part of discovering a new culture is to make a connection with its people. So many good experiences have taught me this.
ABOUT ME
I am a lover of world travel & cultures seeking new adventures and friends around the globe. I'm an actor, writer, and director for film and stage and seeing and exploring our world very much helps me enrich my experiences to become a better artist and human being. I have a nice day job that keeps the lights on and I work with great people.
FOR POTENTIAL SURFERS: I can only accommodate ONE traveler. Small space, unfortunately. I will not accept more than one guest. NO PETS. And I don’t have a “backyard you can camp in”. That’s not what this is about for me. Please demonstrate that you've read my profile and are not only interested in the free couch. Couchsurfing is not just about couches, it's also about community. Requests that are not personalized that give me vibes of the couch being what it’s all about will immediately be denied.
Also, please tell me in your message why you want to stay with me specifically. I don’t say yes to anyone I don’t feel I’d have a connection with. If you’re a someone from the area and doing a job or event up here, my place isn’t for you. I prefer to host travelers and people who are interested in spending time with me as well.
Ideally, we should have at least a little in common. Also, I have no yard in my apartment complex, so you cannot pitch a tent or camp, etc. Finally, last minute requests are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for me. I'm very planned and very busy. Please feel free to ask, but just know that if there's not at least a week or two in planning, the chances of it working out are low.
PHILOSOPHY
"There is only today."
I think it is a shame that I live in a country where so many people are so closed off to the magnificence and beauty of the world around them and the people and culture in it. Getting lost and exploring a new culture or location is part of the fun of traveling. I've met some truly amazing people around the world some of whom I'm still in good contact with. I am looking forward to knowing more faces and places!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people. But, when I travel, I'm not merely seeking a place to stay, but hopefully get to know and connect with the people in the culture where I'm visiting. When I host, if you're here during the weekend, I will make an effort to try and show you the area whenever possible! I am all about making connections!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to this and keeping an open mind! Honestly, I'd love to make friends I can keep in contact with over time.
WITH RESPECT TO ALL MY HETERO BROTHERS:
Just because I'm a gay man, if I send you request, that does not mean I am trying to hit on you. It makes me cringe that I even have to write this. However, I've had some strange experiences because people made assumptions about me based on my orientation. This is 2024. We should be more evolved than that. Please and thank you!
Interests
I am a total cinephile. So, apart from movies, I love the work I do (acting, writing, directing) theatre, travel (of course), music, outdoors, reading, games, culture, spending time with friends.
