I love music (listening, composing, performing, watching) and other arts, socialising while enjoying time on my own, exploring buddhism and other life philosophies, and trying to live sustainably, curiously and authentically while having sufficient laughs. In short, being good to myself and others, and being present in the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AWESOME. Surfed in Germany, England, Scotland, Iceland and Ireland, and hosted in Cambridge. Fell in love with Manchester during the amazing CS gathering Madchester Invasion 2013.

Moved back to my home country Germany after 6 years in the UK, and chose the most exciting city to make the transition easier... Leipzig.

I'm getting to a point where I know a lot better what it means to live a genuinely fulfilling life, rather than chasing after what I think will make me happy. Which is cool.

You're more likely to find me hanging out with only a few people I'm really comfortable with, at home or at the pub, than in the club with a dozen of so-called friends. Having said that, I do enjoy a messy night at gigs or houseparties if the company and music's right.

MUSIC
I seem to hate anything which is too slick/pretty/twee. Singer/songwriter music and nice, smooth voices seem to make me angry. But Mark E. Smith's relentless, unintelligible ranting? Yes, please.
Also, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Amanda Palmer, some PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Björk, Magazine. You can get me into the real crazy shit, and angry women when it comes to music. Then I got a weakness for British classics/britpop - Blur, Suede, Pulp, Beatles, Kinks.
