ABOUT ME

Queer, Boricua, singer, theatre nerd, beer dork, not-SO-annoying foodie, lover of ice cream. Just out here in these streets trying to take down the White Supremecist Cis Het Capitalist Patriarchy, unlearn my messed up social conditioning and heal from ancestral trauma. Casual.

It has been YEARS since I have interacted with Couchsurfing, as I have not had the capacity to host in my Chicago apartment. But I'm excited to be back!

PHILOSOPHY

We are responsible for our own happiness and no one else's. Self-love is not just knowing our worth and what we deserve, but also believing in our ability to do the damn thing and get it. Healing is essential and we must put in the work. Being honest with ourselves about who we are, who we want to be, and what we need, and then aligning our actions with that knowledge is the most beautiful gift we can give ourselves. Anything else is self-betrayal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only surfed twice, both hosts were excellent! But when I lived in Ithaca, NY I hosted a TON. The reviews seem to indicate that my roommates and I were pretty darn good hosts, and I'd like to think I'm equally as pleasant as a guest. :)
