Greetings and salutations!

I'm interested in meeting genuine people/travelers looking to make the most out of learning about a new country meeting new people. I love interacting with travelers, traveling enriches the soul.

Spent 2012-2016 in Bermuda with my ex & we met so many cool people from all around then Little Cayman & the Dominican Republic as a beach bartender. I briefly moved to Kelowna BC and am now back in Canmore🇨🇦⛰️ in Canada's Rocky Mountains ⛰️

I worked in Corfu Greece as a bartender and have backpacked/traveled all over Europe. Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Wales, Germany & more including Mallorca Ibiza Barcelona (my fave cities).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joined when I heard about it in 2007 from a Europe travel book when I was overseas. Hosted people in Banff/Ottawa/and now Bermuda. Have only Couchsurfed once - but done tons of hosting, perhaps more in the future as I travel.

Writing, traveling, photography, art, culinary endeavours - and the usual business comprised of interaction with humans. I have a travel blog and am working on a culinary blog, as well as freelance writing for various music websites. I've also been published in print, and have several book ideas.

I'm currently starting my own blog entitled "Little Miss Travelista", travel and worldwide adventures. On another tone, I write about electronic music dj's, primarily, for VMMweb.com and SeminalSounds.com.

I love Bill Bryson, Kerouac & Hunter S. Thompson. I listen to mainly electronic music & Indie bands. I'm an oldskool raver & was into the Electronic music scene back when it was actually still good (the 90's and early millennium rave stuff).

In Costa Rica my one wish was to see wild parrots IN the wild. I've loved Macaws and Amazon parrots for my entire life, and there was a moment when we were sitting on the beach in Jaco, I heard a commotion up in the sky, and lo and behold.

A family of 5 wild Macaws flying right overhead from the beach area into the jungle up the road. We saw them fly back and forth, obviously with food. I will never ever forget that day and now plan to spend 3 months there this year volunteering for the ARA project which helps raise and release the severely underpopulated Macaw populations back into the Costa Rican wild.

I'm a well rounded traveler with a global wanderlust. I've lived & worked in a variety of differing countries & cultures. This has given me a broadminded perspective on both life, and people.

I'm told that I'm fun, outgoing, loud (in the good way), a good cook, an even better bartender, and I get along with everyone unless they're rude. I seem to be able to effortlessly relate to most people, a social butterfly of sorts.
