I live in the far east of Russia in a flat with three cats. So, asking to stay, please, do let me know you read about cats. (because some people have allergy to them).
I'm friendly, open minded and easy going, like hiking , meeting new people from different coutries. I live on the outskirts of Vladivostok on the way to the airport (Ugolnaya station), about 20 minutes drive to the airport and about forty to the downtown. Any electric train goes to Ugolnaya, buses too, but not very late in the evening. I have 2 room flat, I sleep in the living room. The bedroom is for the guests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about Couchsurfing not long ago and just decided to join. It might be an interesting experience to do. I like traveling and meeting new different people, share experience, find out more about countries and people. I like speaking English and would like to practice .

Interests

My main hobby is playing lawn tennis. In winter I like cross country skiing, mountain skiing ,sometimes I go skating, walking. Can play chess, like snorkelling, swimming, cooking together.
I also like good conversations, interesting people, books which make you think. I want to read more but to tell the truth can't find enough time for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Titanic, music-depends on the mood. I like Leonard Cohen , Vladimir Visotskiy, sometimes listen to rock, pop music. My favourite writer is Somerset Maugham . I like "The Moon and Six pens" and "Human Bandedge. " best of all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a tour to Grand Canyon on the mule . That was fantastic !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm open to whatever is within my limits. I'm fond of fasting( not eating anything, just drinking water) I've been doing this once a year for 20-24 days for about 10 years. I can tell a lot if it is interesting .

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experience in travelling, my views, tell a lot about Russia I would cook some food , (pancakes, vegitarian stew, fish or omelette.)
