Hi! My name is Liudmila and I'm a dreamer. I am quite shy, however, I like meeting new people and communicating with them. Of course, it is very interesting to get to know people from other countries and learn something about their way of living, because it can be considerably different from your own. I also study languages (English and German) and linguistics at my university, so, I am always happy to practise and improve them and one of the most effective ways to do it is communicating with people in this languages.
In summer 2014 and 2016 I took part in volunteer projects in Germany and it was a great experience, because I met a lot of great people from different countries. We cooked local dishes for each other, made presentations of our countries, learned more about different cultures. It was a great example of cultural exchange. And I think it actually has something in common with Couchsurfing.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really enjoy listening to music. Muse, the White Stripes, the Beatles are my favourite bands, however, I can listen to different genres, it depens on my mood:=) I like some pop songs, can listen to classical music (usually while I am preparing for my exams).
Some movies and TV series I like: "Knocking on Heavens's Door", "Dead Poets Society", "The Lord of the Rings", "Sherlock", "Breaking Bad", "Mad Men"
As for books, russian classics are great favourites of mine.
