CURRENT MISSION

For each toilet we clean, every bagel we serve we get one step closer to our dream of backpacking through the States! Our goal is getting to know the "real" US, by living with and getting to know people in a perhaps more "non-touristy way"

ABOUT ME

This is a shared profile for me and two of my best friends, Ditte and Louise, because we plan on travelling together and decided that it would be easier to share a profile.
We live in the town of Næstved, a relatively small city about an hour worth of train riding from Copenhagen, the capitol of Denmark.
We just recently graduated from our education and have now decided to take a gap year. During this year we scrub toilets and serve bagels in order to make enough money to go to the US!
We are all 19 years old and very positive outgoing girls, who love anything that involves travels and adventures!
Two of us have attented an intercultural line of study the past three years and have therefore travelled to multiple interesting places.
We are very open to new people and different cultures and we hope to meet a lot of both on our 3 months backpacking trip through the US.
When our minds are not fixated on the impending trip we all take interest in different kinds of medias: Movies, music and books!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Neither one of us has any experience with CouchSurfing but we have all been a part of different exhange programs during our time in high school and we found it very interesting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None specifically with the organisation yet, but we hope that people will open up their homes to us anyway and thus allow us to gain some.

During our stay in Guatemala we climbed a volcano and experienced being above the clouds!
