ABOUT ME

My friends call me weird. I don't think I'm weird. I think I'm excitable, possibly a fraction eccentric. I'm generally a happy go-lucky sort although despite what it looks like on the outside I'm normally feeling rather shy and scared on the inside, so be gentle with me.

What better way to see a city than through the eyes of a local! Not to mention meeting new, like-minded people is one of life's great joys!

兴趣

Hooping, playing guitar and swing dancing are three of my top fun things to do and yet I don't do any of them as much as I ought. I'm mediocre at all of them, because I have a tendancy to be lazy or get caught up doing other things and don't get around to practicing. But they're still excellently fun! Laughing, though, is my all time favourite thing to do. Thankfully that doesn't take practice or need time set aside to make it happen.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Without question or a thought, the most amazing thing to I've done to date was a tour on camel out into the Sahara. Not just that, though. It was after dinner when we climb the tallest dune the eye could see and when we got to the top of that one, there was another, taller one. And we climbed that too. And at the top, the berber pointed out the Algerian boarder and then made me a sand pillow and a sand blanket and we watched the sky. I've never felt so close to the stars. It was as if I could have reached out and plucked one from the nightsky as a memento.
