ABOUT ME

I just finished my third year as an undergraduate student at University of California, Santa Barbara.

"About me" sections are so tough because it is so hard to describe oneself, and can anyone honestly give an unbiased and accurate description of themself?

But just a bit about me... I think I am quite a contradiction... I am a science nerd and pretty OCD about my grades, but I am also a cheerleader for my school and love to go out, party, and dance! Work hard, play harder...

I really appreciate good food, especially healthy food, but I have to admit I have a soft spot for cookies.

I drink too much caffeine, whether it is tea, coffee, or an energy drink...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only had the opportunity to surf. And they have been amazing experiences!! I stayed with some really cool guys in Munich, Amsterdam and Brussels and had some amazing hosts for me and my mom in France!

Now that I'm back in Santa Barbara, I hope I will get the chance to return the favor and show people around my hometown!

Dance, traveling (I caught the travel bug last summer in Europe), gymnastics, cheer, pole-vaulting, reading, philosophy, debates, good food, red wine, tea (especially green), dark chocolate, learning new languages, and learning in general! It is my dream to be an eternal student, unfortunately I will probably have to get a job in a few years...

Of course, I can help to teach English... I can also share my music, my dancing skills, my love of chocolate and my culture. I could try to teach you some gymnastics too, but I'd really rather you return to your hometown without any broken bones, so that might be a bad idea.

I want to learn new languages, and improve my Spanish especially. I also enjoy learning about other people's cultures (in fact, I might annoy my hosts and surfers with superfluous questions about their hometowns, so be warned! Haha). That is probably my favorite part about couch-surfing! I would also love to learn how to play an instrument, ride a motorcycle, go waterskiing, breakdance and SO many other things!!
