ABOUT ME

Hiker, biker, skier, kayaker, with less travelling a year now than awhile back. Loving the area I live in and all the adventures found just outside my doorstep. Not hosting for the moment due to small living space, but it's possible to ask me to meet up for a coffee or a beer and get some travel advise if passing through - or even better - stopping to enjoy Voss. I am working and living in Norway, call Finland home and speak Swedish as my mother tongue.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Focus on good things and try to spread that. Don't always rely on first impressions and enjoy the flow when you find it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been a "CS-fan" since I joined in the spring of 2007. Both stayed with CS-ers and hosted more a few years back, and hope to take it up when living arrangement are more suitable for it.

One? No can do. Sailing under full moon along the Nicaraguan coast. Hiking Patagonia. Kayaking a gorgeous rainy Naeroyfjord. Biking Queen Charlotte Track. Seeing whales pass closely by our Zodiak off Tofino. Midnight rafting in Salta. Monks chanting at dawn at a monastery outside Zhongdian. Snorkelling and trading rice for lemons in the San Blas. Waking up above clouds at Låkta mountain station. Cantering through Finnish forests. Free falling with views to Robben Island and Table mountain. Seeing Machu Picchu from the Sun gate with rain dripping down my cheeks. Dancing in a bloco in Salvador de Bahia. Swimming with dolphins in Kaikoura. Lazy Sunday afternoons at the Alhambra. Diving with mantas in the Similan Islands. Biking alone in the dark to see Angkor Wat at sunrise. Sipping lovely wine in Stellenbosch. Early morning on Rio Dulce. Skiing white mountains under blue skies. Attempting surfing in Bali. Laughing with friends. Falling in love. Over and over again.
