Overview
About Me
I'm Livia, I'm a 20 (nearly 21) years old student. I grew up in the north-est of Italy, in Vicenza, a small town not far from Venice and Verona, famous for its renaissance architectures by Andrea Palladio. I got into medicine in Florence and I happily moved there. I like my studies a lot, but I try to find some time for all my other interests.
I work as a babysitter a couple of times a week to give my very small contribute to family finances.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, not only to see new places but also to meet new people. I also like the idea of going somewhere without necessarily planning every single step. Couchsurfing not only gives you chances to meet wonderful people, I believe, but it also makes it possible to improvise and choose places to go based on the people that could host you. In this sense, it's a discovery.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love music from the 60s and 70s, but recently I expanded my musical tastes and I listen to a lot of Italian music, both old and "indie", English music (I love Franz Ferdinand, Jake Bugg, The Fratellis, Alt-J...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During high-school we had the opportunity to do a cultural exchange with an Indian school, so we hosted some amazing people and then we were hosted at their places in Bangalore. It was a really beautiful and also strong experience that helped me realize many things about the world and about me.. I believe that my choice of medical school had a bit to do with that trip.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, India, Slovenia
