Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As one of the fellow travelers here once told me: Cities speak via people. I feel like I cannot get to know a place without hanging out with locals. The guide books will never show you the best spots for sunsets, best bars to have a nice glass of wine and will never tell you how it feels to actually live at the given place.

Interests

What I love the most are roadtrips. Just get in the car, pull down the windows, put some chilled music on and hit the road. Adjust your way based on what you experience on it, get recommendations and travel hints from locals, try what comes to your way. Leave any prejudices behind and enjoy the ride. That is the form of travelling I enjoy the most :)

I love meetig new people, laughing, cooking, sharing food, having international dinners and fun. I also love sports, mainly yoga, skiing and swimming. I never say no for a little bit of adrenalin - it can be in air, on the water or anywhere in between!

On the other hand, sometimes I need some time for myself - just to sit down with a thoughtful book, good movie or music :) My favourite chill time activity is watching Ted talks - so if you have seen one that I shouldn't miss, feel free to send me its link in message :) It will make my day!
