About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To surround myself with the kind of people I want to be.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very social person. I travel often for work and I enjoy all sorts of people but mostly travelers. In my travels I've made my best connections with the types of people who are willing to step into the void in search of adventure. I've always lived near the ocean except for four years when I lived inland in Chico California. I never felt quite at home there and new I needed to get back to the ocean so I bought a boat to live on and now live on the San Francisco Bay. I couldn't be happier.

Interests

My newest interest is sailing. I live aboard a 45' trimaran and take it out when I can. I am utterly devoted to Burningman. I consider it my true community although my new community is making a deep impression on me. I love kids and enjoy interacting with them the way adults used to interact with me when I was young. Whatever happened to that? People seem too gaurded today. I love riding dirt bikes although I sold mine when I moved onto my boat. I love to spend time with my children. They are grown and live elsewhere but our time spent together is always amazing. I still party like I did in my twenties just not as often now. I also still love video games. It's something I never outgrew.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 14 months in Cabo San Lucas selling extacy and living like a king in one of the most amazing party destinations in the world. I taught first grade in Thailand for a year while living in a Thai massage parlor. I spent 6 months in a Mexican prison. It's not something that most people would brag about but in all of my travels it was my most amazing cultural experience. I suppose the most amazing experiences are the craziest ones.
