ABOUT ME

well, mainly i love to learn about anything. learning about different languages, places, and cultures is what interests me the most. i am very inquisitive and tend to ask tons of questions. i love having great conversations about anything, and make every situation as fun as i can. i'm not afraid to embarrass myself by dancing around like a dork. i think attitude accounts for a lot in life. i suppose i could be classified as "spunky".

i want to travel everywhere my dad wanted to go but couldn't get to. he died from cancer in summer 2010, and i hope to bring a part of him with me everywhere i end up.

PHILOSOPHY

if people aren't nice, there is no reason to be rude back to them. just ignore them and have fun in whatever you decide do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm down with meeting up in or around the city or at my house in the suburbs. i know great places around cleveland to go. staying at my house is a maybe because i live with my brother and his daughter, so the final decision is not my own...

i love meeting up with people i have met in cities around the world. CS makes it easier to meet more cool people and encourage international friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have couchsurfed in Geneva, Marseilles, Toulouse, Oslo, and Kristiansand and they were all experiences i wouldn't trade in for anything. i got to meet people and see places i would have never been able to do as a "tourist".

i tend to couchsurf with people who aren't CS memebers who i have met through traveling. i'd like to get into more actual "CouchSurfing" surfing experiences, rather than just surfing people's couches, if that makes sense.

Interests

i love reading and music. all kinds. i love swimming and any water sports. i like to go for walks, long hikes, camping trips, or to just sit around and eat and drink for hours while talking. i try to get outside as much as possible.

i don't enjoy capitalizing words when i am online. you might have noticed.

i love Muse! i just can't get enough.

as for books, i enjoy works The Life if Pi, works by Vonnegut, and lots upon lots more. i read constantly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the sand dunes in Florence, Oregon were breathtaking as well as watching grey whales play with sea lions from the cliffs above the beach.
