Hello! My name is Liyun, which means "Jasmine" in my mother tongue because I was born in summer :)

I'm from Taiwan, a beautiful island on the western side of Pacific Ocean. Now I live in Gandia, Spain for a year as an exchange student.

I study English philology (literature and linguistics) in college, and study tourism in UPV Gandia campus now.

I am an optimistic and positive girl most of the time. I love listening to music, singing, playing guitar, watching movies & series and especially traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to experience the way local people have in their own cities, to learn deeper the culture and cuisine :D

Interests

Playing guitar and piano, singing, doing yoga, cycling, cooking, reading, writing, watching films, traveling, making new friends, learn foreign languages, learning exotic cultures.

I'm now living quite near to the Mediterranean Sea so I have a new habit of walking along the beach and think about nothing ;)

I've been learning Spanish for 3 years and just began to learn French recently! :)

Travel around Taiwan in scooter with a group of crazy friends in 9 days!

Be the director, screenwriter, and one of the actress in my graduation play!

Keeping a weekly blog since 2 years ago and get to know myself further!

Traveling in Croatia by driving a car with one friend! (and the first day we drove all the way from Zagreb to Dubrovnik, about 600 kilometers, probably the most exhausting day in my life, but it's worth it when we saw the amazing night view of Dubrovnik)

Started to jog along the beach to welcome the summer in Spain :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I cannot really teach you anything since I am still learning, but I am more than willing to share what I have learnt and what I have done. If you are interested in the complicated traditional Chinese character, I can give you a small card with the hand-writing of your name on it! I can also share food as well (but probably not that tasteful as they are in my home country)
