I'm currently an Interior Designer and Photographer based in NYC.......and lover of all things travel, design, art and music! I also am working to co-found a non-profit organization to help communities in need, especially after natural disasters. My boyfriend Edwin (currently working in NYC as well as a contract furniture designer with a background in Architecture) and I are looking forward to make a trip from Alaska all the way to Chile. We couldn't be more excited to start our journey this winter!

Places I've visited so far: Cuba, Italy, Thailand, Tulum MX, Bermuda, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico of course, where my family is from.
Travel goals include: Bali, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, Prague, Portugal...this list goes on and on!

Art is all around me. Leaves dancing their way down in the crisp autumn air. Summer golden light coaxing and caressing a smile. Two eyes locking as love blooms. Those special moments, sometimes overlooked, sometimes passionately revealed, begging for the world to see. My art is to capture all of the above.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like experiencing culture, characters....I try see the beauty in every day things. I'm pretty low key, not too too high maintenance. Basic needs: to feel comfortable and safe wherever I am staying. Edwin and myself are excited to give our time, learn new skills, make new connections, and adventure through the world!

Favorite Movies: The Fall, Gladiator

Music: Anything really, pretty open to all types. Love going on Soundcloud and discovering new artists and producers. I love making music whenever I can with friends, and frequently go to concerts. I LOVE Little Dragon, Hiatus Kiyote, SZA, Moses Sumney, Chancha Via Circuito, and more.

Books: The Fountainhead, The Goldfinch, The Golden Notebook, How to Be A Badass. Currently reading Big Magic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decide to quit my job, sell all my things, and take an adventure of a lifetime: travel the PanAmerican Highway.
