Hi there! My name is Liz. I'm a traveller at heart who is looking to expand her horizons and I think couch surfing is a beautiful way to do this! I'm very friendly, open-minded and a good listener. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm 23 and I think this is a good age to start traveling. I do not have any obligations and I have the free time to travel but I am on a budget like most people! Couch surfing will save me a lot of money. I can travel to the cities I love without spending hundreds of dollars on fancy hotels - sweet! Couch surfing also seems like a great way to meet new people and this is appealing.

Interests

I'm the creative type so I enjoy painting, writing, drawing, etc. I love helping people in many ways - listening, Reiki healing, whatever someone needs, I will do if I feel compelled to help.
I love listening to all kinds of music and I enjoy art. I love adventuring and seeing what the world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I listen to classic rock, alternative, dubstep, folk, acoustic, blues, rap...pretty much anything!
READING: I like reading books like Journey of Souls by Michael Newton or The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho; works by Timothy Leary/Terence McKenna - anything to help expand consciousness draws me in.
I love reading about astrology, palm reading and other branches of the occult. I'm also a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes series.
Movies - Comedy. Horror. Drama. You name it. I just saw the new Jungle Book and it was great.
Some of my favorite movies are The Godfather (Part 1), Almost Famous, Gone With The Wind, Pulp Fiction, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am the most proud of staying true to myself in an American society that demands conformity. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs where there is little variation among the people who live there - fancy cars, modest dress and prestigious titles are mostly expected. I like wandering off the beaten path and I pride myself on this. I think everyone should have the freedom to be their total and complete selves and I am happy with the person I am/am becoming.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of knowledge to teach/share about spirituality and the occult. If you are at all interested in energy, healing. Spirituality, astrology, tarot, palm reading, etc. I am more than willing/happy to share this information with you!
I have SO much to learn in this lifetime! I want to learn anything and everything (hey, I can at least try!). I want to learn how people live, what people are doing, how they are doing it. I want to learn people's life stories.
