About Me
A bit of a nomad, worked in agriculture and school gardening for years. Also a farmers' market manager for 3 plus years and ran a small organic skin care line with a friend. Recently decided to leave the US and try to spend some time abroad to change things up a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now i'm surfing, waiting on Visa paperwork to be filed. I'll be staying in France for a year and after, will be hosting again once I get a place of my own either in France or in the US. I have hosted in the past and love meeting people of different cultures and learning new languages, eating new foods and expanding my awareness. It's a big world out there and this is such a great way to see it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 5 weeks in Laos and road on a motorbike with a monkey in my arms to visit Hmong villages in the area. Definitely an amazing moment! Also the time I spent in Yemen doing an archaeological survey was life-changing. I love the Yemeni people with all my heart and long to get back there one day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love skill exchange. I can cook, make cheese, preserves, soaps, salves, face creme and body products and tried herbal teas. I can help hosts with English and French as well. I have gardening knowledge and love to help with outdoor tasks.
