I'm an avid traveler and one of my favorites things about traveling is meeting new people and making amazing friends. Eating is a close second. I love being outdoors--hiking and camping--but I also love taking in cities and their cultural sights and events.

Couchsurfing seems like the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with people. It can be difficult to break the ice and talk to strangers. Couchsurfing is that catalyst.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music, movies and books. Especially if someone else explains to me why they love a particular song, movie or book. There have been times when I've come away hating a movie or a book and someone has swayed me by showing me their perspective on it. It doesn't *always* work, but I enjoy seeing things from others' perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paraglided over the foothills of the Cascades. I've never been that close to tree tops before. It was amazing and beautiful to have them almost tickling my feet.
