Born in California, I grew up in South Carolina. When I was 19, I traveled out of the country for the first time, and since them, I've traveled to 20 different countries as well as around the US. I have a Bachelors degree in Art Education and taught for 3 years before I moved to Nigeria to teach 6th grade. When I returned to the US, I worked as a nanny for a short time, before I found a job at a Gap year school I started out as a Resident Assistant, but now work as the Director of Student Affairs for the gap year school.

I enjoy visiting new places and even more, I love meeting new people and making connections. I enjoy traveling when I put aside being a tourist and can step into the shoes of locals to really see how life looks.

兴趣

One of my favorite things to do is being out in nature, whether it's hiking, climbing, kayaking or camping. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes on anyone who is hungry. Another thing I love to do is dance, especially swing dancing.
