I'm a left wing activist from Melbourne. But i also wait tables to pay the bills.
I love reading about history, going to political meetings and protests, seeing live music, drinking red wine and going on adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got to spend a few weeks with the Zapatistas in Oventik, Chiapas in 2002. Definitely a highlight seeing Indigenous people stand up and take back control over their lives.
Slept at a train station with hundreds of homeless on the border of Belarus and Poland in the dead of winter because of visa problems.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hello, i'm travelling for a month and visiting Barcelona and Athens. In Spain Im hoping to pick up some Spanish , have fun, meet lots of local people, and were possible learn more about the political scene. In Athens, all of the above, but I'm pretty sure i'm going to struggle to learn any Greek. Can't wait for the late night culture in both cities!
What I Can Share with Hosts
What can i give? Good conversation (well hopefully). I'm not a great cook but happy to cook. And I'm always respectful to and thankful for all the amazing people i meet in my life. I've never couchsurfed so not really sure what people do. But hoping to have a good start with this trip.
