ABOUT ME

So Im an undergrad at UCLA, but Im actually spending the year studying abroad in bordeaux france! Its my first time outside of the US and Im super excited to be here! I'm loving it so far! :) I am extremely friendly and I love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like life is in varying shades of gray..that to say that most things aren't black and white..good or evil..right or wrong. And the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

so far ive only surfed, but now that im back from abroad i want to give back, so please come surf at my house!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel like it enriched my traveling in Germany.. not only did i meet awesome friends but we were able to learn about their culture and see the country from the point of view of a local, as opposed to just seeing the touristy stuff. we also had fun showing/telling them about our culture. overall, couch surfing rocks, end of story.

Interests

hmm..I'm interesting in learning about practically anything!! but I love traveling, reading, watching movies, baking, painting, running, trying new things, parties, swimming, coffee, cereal, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: i love most types of music..depending on my mood or what im doing. but especially rock, pop, rap/hip hop, oldies, indie, techno, french music, etc.
I love songs that are nostalgic for me (there are many!)..that remind me of things in my past or certain people.

movies: too many to name! My favorites are romantic, comedies, horror, or drama..but really any! I love going to the theater :) right now Im really into watching french movies because I feel like it helps me learn while having fun!

books: lots too..but my all time favorite is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. its perfection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past summer I visited florida, and I got to swim with dolphins!! soo amazing..they actually are trained to give you kisses, let you pet them, pull and push you through the water on their flippers..and a bunch of other tricks. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm..well if you want to learn english, I'm definitely very patient now that I know what it's like to learn a foreign language.

I can teach you how to make pancakes or bake cookies/other desserts and things.

umm..I'm also an expert (by birth) on american culture..so yeah i can answer any crazy questions you might have.
