I get itchy feet, and I'm not always great at coming back from holidays. I'm a theatre maker, performer and producer, and a puppeteer. I've lived for the past seven years in Spain and Latin America, and have recently moved back to Ireland. I like swimming in the sea and performing with fire, and going on very long walks that last for weeks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music – a bit of everything. I'm going through a serious chansons phase at the moment, also Cuban music, also disco and motown.
Movies – Belleville Rendez-Vous is an all-time favourite. Delicatessen, Breakfast on Pluto, Les Enfants du Paradis, Badlands, among many.
My favourite authors are Flann O'Brien and Dostoyevsky, and my favourite book right now is Anthony Burgess's Earthly Powers. But I also love reading non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've performed for the last six years in pyrotechnic street performances in Catalunya, in fire parades called correfocs, where the performers dress as demons and dance down the street with fireworks on sticks:
