Overview
About Me
I'm a student from England on an ERASMUS year abroad in Germany. I'm currently studying in Dresden but want to meet new people and see the rest of the country whilst I'm here, also I'm hoping to improve my German by the time I get back to the UK!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this is the best way for me to experience the German culture and to save money whilst studying. I'd love to meet new people (German and non German) and explore parts of the country which I have never seen before!

Music, Movies, and Books
Big techno and house fan (hence I'm in Germany) but open to everything and I love festivals and big music events.
Movies-anything with subtitles, art house, alternative and independent film. A few favourites are: Das Leben der Anderen, Lion, Angel-A, The Kite Runner, Legend, etc etc
Books-The Colour Purple, A Thousand Splendid Suns, anything that will make me cry..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year I ran the London Marathon in 3 hours and 30 minutes..
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a native Russian speaker and was born in Ukraine, however I am mostly forgetting the language so it is something I would love to pick up again if anyone is willing to have a conversation with me! Also I am a student of the German language and have relatively good proficiency so this is something I want to share and improve through speaking to people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some typical British humour and I'm always happy to provide some beers! (or wine)
