ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Liz and my son is Will (aged 12 in 2010). I started travelling way back in 1988 and have backpacked and travelled in all sorts of places. I think travel is the most educational and inspirational thing and I have travelled with Will since he was 5 years old. Our favourite destination is South East Asia and Will is dead keen on becoming fluent in Chinese in particular, although he is generally keen on all languages. We have just come back from camping in Normandy and Brittany which was great. I like to meet people when I'm travelling as it is such an interesting way to meet people from different walks of like that we wouldn't ordinarily meet. I'm fond of a cold glass of beer or a glass of red wine and it's always better to share!

PHILOSOPHY

Make things happen. Don't be a passenger but take control of life.
Look out for other people and help them get the most out of life as well.
Seeing it once is better than being told 100 times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pick just one! Flying over Angel Falls was pretty special though. Seeing whales in the wild is a stand out too.
