A bizarre series of chances have made me work harder in the past three years than in the rest of my life put together. And I love it. However, on the rare Saturday mornings when I can wake up slowly, make a pot of coffee and lie on the sofa in the sunlight reading the Saturday papers for a few hours, I know I have returned to my natural element.
