About Me

I am a beat poet at heart. I'd love to meet new people on the road.

Introverted. Spiritual. Writer. Teacher.

Would love to host guests in the future when the time is right and I have better accommodations to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm at a point in my life where I feel traveling is a spiritual and psychological necessity as well as a stepping stone in life. I've been influenced by the beat poets and Thoreau. I want to build a life that has more meaning-- making connections with others and living simply and sustainably. I want to meet people who have seen the world and have insights to offer.

Interested in minimalism and the tiny house movement. I'd love to stay in a tiny house. I'd also love to stay with someone who has a homestead and is living off the land, growing organic food. I come from a family of gardeners and would feel right at home and would pitch in.

Interests

Read. Write. Think. Talk. Listen. Meditate. Yoga. Listen to music. Create.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cried with joy at Shakespeare and Company bookstore in Paris.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified yoga teacher and aim to practice every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love learning new things and I am happy to help hosts with whatever projects or chores they may need done. The types of things I would enjoy doing are cooking, building projects (though I have no experience!), gardening, cleaning (yes, really), taking care of animals and children, crafts/volunteering, etc.

I am positive, open minded, and have a "carpe diem" attitude! I am also all for going with the flow.

***Would love to find a place where I could work part-time in the summer and live for free for one-two months.***
