About Me

ABOUT ME

I just finished graduate school (studied industrial engineering) and moved to Atlanta which I'm pretty excited about. I'm living with one of my best friends and will be starting work at my dream job in July. Before work starts, I'm spending a month traveling around Switzerland, Germany and Italy. While I'm staying with friends and family most of the time I am looking for some places to crash in cities where I don't know anyone. I have a tendency to live in odd places (the last place was an attic apartment whose only entrance was a fire escape) so I haven't had as much of an opportunity to host travelers as I'd like but I'm hoping to change that with my new home in Atlanta.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and love to meet people. While in school my travel has been limited to places where I know people to stay with but I'm hoping I'll be able to expand that a bit once I'm working :)

Interests

I really like to run, although my love of running is not an indicator of how good I am at running. I enjoy reading and accumulating books that I intend to one day read. Thrift stores are one of my favorite places. Every day is a chance to play dress up so I try to make the most of it with my sometimes eclectic clothing. Exploring bars is always a good time especially when there are some yummy craft IPAs involved. I also love art of any sort and am fascinated with anything related to manufacturing.

Run Mount Washington...twice. It was truly life changing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I'm a fairly entertaining and interesting person - I haven't had the world traveling experiences that some people have had but I always tend to end up with interesting stories to tell. I'm also pretty good at connecting people to each other.
