ABOUT ME

I've been a journalist for 12 years, and it has fed my lust for adventures and new locations. (You can find out more about me and my work at http://www.elizabethtai.com.)I love meeting new people and soaking up new cultures. Now I'm about to take career break and to start "vagabonding" around Australia. I'm eager to get to know people from around the world and to immerse myself in their culture.

PHILOSOPHY

"Feel the fear and do it anyway." I love this quote by Susan Jeffries. So many times we are held back by our fears. I want to live life blessing others, experiencing other cultures and get out of the 'me, me' me' trap.

I'm a newbie, and am frankly a little intimidated, but I'm eager to know how life as a couchsurfer will be like. I've couchsurfed with friends.

Grey's Anatomy (it's McSteamy's fault), Walking Dead (I'm a huge Zombie flick fan) Games of Thrones and True Blood.

I'm a huge book lover - in fact, part of my job is to review books and interview authors. I love reading and writing space opera, but on the whole I read a huge variety of books across genres. My favourite book? Stiff by Mary Roach and orld War Z by Max Brooks.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

As a journalist, I've done the most amazing things so it's difficult to name just ONE fantastic thing. I suppose having James Marsden and Patrick Dempsey sit next to me and interviewing them is high on my OMG moments. Then there's that dinner at the Forbidden City with Jet Li at the next table or watching a James Bond movie at the Royal Albert Hall with the Queen of England and Prince Charles siting behind me. Or perhaps travelling solo around England via train.
