ABOUT ME

We love to travel and experience new cultures and try local cuisine wherever we go. Amateur photography, and reading are hobbies of ours. We are from the U.S. (Texas and California) and currently live in Sicily, but we are still beginners in learning Italian. Julio speaks Spanish (Mexico) fluently, and Liz speaks a little bit. We also enjoy making friends in new places :)

PHILOSOPHY

We want to experience life and seize the opportunities that come our way. We are fortunate to have this chance to live in and travel about Europe and we are not letting it go to waste!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We host when possible, but are always happy to meet someone for coffee or a meal and show them around a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted surfers and met someone who showed us around a city. The next step is finding someone to surf with :)

Music, Movies, and Books

We are fans of many types of music. Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Death Cab, Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Drake, Sheryl Crow, Lil Wayne, Tupac, Michael Bublé, The Killers, The Postal Service, Adele, Rihanna, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, India Arie, Amy Winehouse, Owl City (really, everything).
We have also enjoyed some of the international music that we have been introduced to here like Don Omar and Alexandra Stan.
We both enjoy suspense novels- Liz's favorite author is James Patterson and Julio's favorite is James Grippando.
We enjoy comedy films and thriller/suspense as well. Oh, and most reality TV shows.
