Hi!

My name is Ελισάβετ Σπανού, but you can call me Lizy :).

I am a 22 yo soon-to-be PhD student at the University of Tasmania.

I was born in Greece, then moved to Canada with my family at 2 yo, back to Greece when i was 11, then France for my undergraduate at 18. I've been around the world just a little just a little since then (undergraduate in Montpellier, France, and master's degree in Scotland) and have an open mind. I'm really friendly and easy to get along with too.

Hotels are too expensive, and i see no reason not to share my home with any travellers passing through, when i am not living in Greece. Unfortunately, as i am currently in Greece, i am living with my parents, and cannot offer their home up for grabs.

兴趣

Singing, dancing, acting, piano, (general performing arts) and, well, science ;).

Love to dance rock, swing (lindy hop, charleston), salsa, almost any other latin dance you can come up with.

Love to sing, in bands when i can, and karaoke does fine for the rest of the time.

I am currently studying marine science, with a really social aspect to it.

Movie: Love actually. I know it is the cheesiest thing on the planet, but i live it. The Princess Bride. I won't apologise for that one. Happy Feet. Totally own up to that one too.

Books... Anything Terry Pratchett. And His Dark Materials is my favourite trilogy.

Climbed Mount Olympus, multiple times.

Played Esmeralda in Notre Dame de Paris.

Got a 16 on the first essay i ever wrote, at masters level! :) (So proud of this!) Recieved award for the best master's project too! :)
