ABOUT ME

I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying. When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. I am one of the people who love the why of things. I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist. I am willing to fight for peace. Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war. I am neither especially clever nor especially gifted. I am only very, very curious.

I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.

Because of my international travel, my perspective is wide enough to find myself home almost anywhere I go. Wanderlust is a part of who I am, and the destination is only half the story.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in Colombia, Ecuador, Vienna and Boston. Each time the experiences were amazing and unforgettable. At the moment, I am getting to know the Dallas Couchsurfing group more as they meet regularly on Thursday evenings. This is a great way to broaden my friendships and make new connections.

兴趣

I love extreme sports. Anything from white water rafting to bungee jumping and anything in between. I love to read and study things that pique my interest. Currently I am studying to be a professional peacemaker at SMU in Dallas. There is nothing greater than to be in the company of great friends and family enjoying some great wine. The ONE true love of my life is my dog. She is a German Shepherd/Husky mix and we go to the park almost every single day.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I rode horseback for 2 days across the Andes with an indigenous guide in Ecuador. Just as we were making summit on the first day, it began to pour rain. I continued to ride for another 6 hours in the rain, on top of a mountain. I almost died... kinda. :)

There was also the time I decided to jump off an 8o meter bridge, over a river and in between 2 active volcanoes. Yeah, that was a fun day.

And at one point while traveling in Prague, I was fortunate enough to attend a free ICANN Gala at a Castle, on top of a hill. While sipping a glass of champagne and looking out over the Danube from my castle view, fireworks began to go off! Yeah, that was a pretty amazing moment in my life!

I'm lucky to have atleast three of these kinds of moments.
