ABOUT ME

My name is Lizzie. I am 24 years old. I enjoy being outside and partaking in lots of physical activity (especially trail running, rock climbing, yoga, bicycling (road and mountain), going to Barton Springs), though I admit the Texas heat is very limiting at times. I also like doing things that are homey and private: baking, cooking, knitting, reading, movies, having tea with friends, house projects, things like that. I love going to coffeeshops too, and, of course, traveling every chance I get.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

host and surf! I've made so many wonderful friends through couchsurfing, many of which I still keep in touch with or hang out with. It's just something about the way this project brings people together that makes for some deeper connection long after you've left their home or they've left yours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have couchsurfed and hosted quite a bit. Also, I am on a warmshowers list for cyclists coming through town, and have done my fair share of bandit camping and knocking on people's doors as well, (not that I'm recommending it). Two of my favorite people here in Austin I met through couchsurfing (we hosted them and they moved here shortly afterwards).

visiting Hare Krishna temples in foreign countries is one of my faves. They always have the best food, too. =)
