ABOUT ME

I'm a student about to start at UC San Diego studying music and linguistics. I currently sing for a band called The Inciters, teach theatre and music to kids and work with Cabrillo Stage, a professional musical theatre company. I go backpacking and camping in the Sierras fairly often. I like beer and burritos and hanging out around a campfire with good friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to travel and meet people in other countries and would love to return the favor if anyone wants to come to San Diego. I have a couch and some floor space in the living room in a very convenient apartment close to busstops, bars, shops and restaurants. I live with my boyfriend and we are both students - not crazy partiers but we do like to go to bars, play pool, see live music and have a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books

Musical theatre (yes I am a total nerd for musicals), Erykah Badu, Les Nubians, Zap Mama, Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding. I love any movie with a decent script and good acting. Right now I'm reading 100 Years of Solitude because I somehow missed out on reading it in high school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bike from Santa Cruz to Tijuana.
