About Me
Hello! My name's Liesbeth, but you can call me Lizzy. I'm Dutch, from the tiny town of Leiden, the Netherlands, where I also completed my bachelors degree in Psychology. I've lived, travelled and studied in Sydney, Australia, and am now doing an MA in philosophy in London. My mother is from Canada, so I've spent a lot of time in Montreal and surrounding areas!
I haven't quite figured out how long it takes to boil a perfect egg, I enjoy eating breakfast for dinner, and most of the plants I have owned throughout my life, have died. On a more positive not, I like to laugh, I like to talk, but better yet - I like to listen! I also enjoy a little singsong, and am decent at strumming a guitar!
My favourite activity is having a good conversation accompanied with lots of laughter - preferably with red wine and gooey cheese.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love people - in any way, shape or form (except for serial killers, I suppose). I want to see what life is like through other people's eyes, and couchsurfing is a wonderful way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bob Dylan, Leif Vollebekk, Nick Mulvey, Lianne la Havas, oldies/goldies, aretha franklin, rex orange county, endless other artists, but always some sweet jazzzzz
Good Will Hunting, Whiplash, Moonstruck, Analyse This, Fightclub, True Detective (season 1), It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Mindhunter, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
Kurt Vonnegut is the man. Other than that, I wish I was what they call 'a reader' but admittedly I must say that I am not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know. I'm quite good at imitating cats. Not really a cat person though, I prefer dogs.
I've managed to get hit by a car twice in one week. I don't know about you, but I was quite amazed by that.
Teach, Learn, Share
Planning to become a therapist, so I can offer a listening ear.
I'm sure we can have some interesting conversations about philosophy and psychology!
Music making/listening is fun.
I like to do accents, but need to add some more to the repertoire.
Not very competitive, unless we're playing charades.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can laugh and talk and sing and cook, and many more things! Maybe all at the same time!
