Besides English, I'm brushing up on my Spanish and slowly learning German.

I'm a couch surfing newbie but am looking forward to my first experience.

I'm a friendly introvert that would like to meet people in the locations that I visit.

Interests

While on vacation, I aim to visit museums, nature preserves and good local restaurants. I went kayaking for the first time recently and hated it, but I enjoy swimming and sailing. I enjoy live music and travel to see the Tadesci Trucks Band, Common, and Johnnyswim a few times a year. I love Salsa dancing though I'm pretty awful and rhythmless. If you visit Philly, I'll definitely take you dancing.

I'll read any true crime books and anything on the Bosnian or Vietnam wars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran low on cash while vacationing in Costa Rica so I took a job selling ATV tours and renting bikes. People were so friendly and patient though my Spanish wasn't great.
