I am a cabin crew based in the Middle East, and a commercial pilot. I fly approx. 25 civil flights + 10 private flights a month. However the reason I decided to become a pilot is that I want to save up and eventually to be a sailor with my own sailboat. (Yes it’s strange :D)

Before all that, I had been a sailing translator/activist, a tour guide, a tour operator, and the assistant of the Minister of Overseas Community Affairs Council.

On top of that, I am also an enthusiast in Ashtanga Yoga, photography, spirituality, and calligraphy.

People say I'm always brave to go for what I love and dream of. However in my opinion, being brave is to do something that one doesn't love about out of the benefit of others. When it comes to justice, I don't compromise, especially of human rights. Moreover, I have some kind of OCD of self-reflecting all the time.

The universe and life have led me to different places. And I believe it's "Maktub (written/destined)".

I had visions of white bright eyes watching me whenever I was in the forests, and I ended up studying forestry; I have been having an emotional and spiritual connection with the oceans, and I ended up sailing with Greenpeace for two good years; I had visions of being an eagle all the time since childhood, and now I'm flying as a full-time cabin crew + part-time pilot.

I love chaotic places - as they tell wonderful stories of life, and they are lives.

• Been given money by a beggar in Chittagong, Bangladesh
• Flew on my small plane from Joburg to the coast and Cape Town and back
• Been mistakenly taken by the police as a bomber in La Reunion
• Trusted people without references on CS and had amazing and warm experiences
• In actions fighting against illegal fishing boats in the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean
• Did piracy drills and watches everyday on the way sailing to Somalian waters
• Interviewed Southeast Asian workers/fishermen at sea
• Hosted a street singing show for foreign workers who work in Taiwan
• Did Couchsailing island-jumping in the Adriatic Sea
