Laughing/joking/smiling/arguing/loud passionate discussions/knowledge/what else....all these things seem good, no?

I love traveling and meeting new people from all over. My research has me traveling a lot, and there is nothing better than meeting up with friendly folks across the globe. I've been a member of Hospitality Club for several years and am brand new to CS. If you're in Los Angeles (I'm living here for grad school) I'm sure I can provide or find you a friendly couch/bed/floor for a few nights. Also, if you happen to be in Chicago (my home town) and need a place to stay, want to go hear some good music, or just hang out and have a few beers, drop me a line and I can try to find a friend for you to stay with. I think the CS idea is great. I learned about it from my friend and am excited to start hosting and being hosted! There is no better way to get to know new places, and it's great to share my own cities with travelers.
