About Me
Hi Everyone! I am/have embarked on a trip around the world to in some way find myself but also find myself in other people by learning about different cultures and communities as I go. At the moment I am writing this bio I am in the United States preparing myself for this journey. I will fly from Detroit, Michigan to NYC then too London, my plan is to make it too southeast Asia by the end, maybe even farther. I don't know how I'll get there, I don't know who I am when I'm done but I know she will be happy to have done it. I have spent some time traveling in the past 3 years, but this will be the grandest adventure yet. Although I'm sure there will be more to come. If you feel you have something to share with me in this journey, I hope we meet along the way! I am a determined, open minded and lighthearted person who loves all people, kind or not, just for the fact that they are human. I love learning and will try anything once. I adore kids, animals and the outdoors. I'm sure we will get along; I can't wait to meet you :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love lots of books, but when I think of my favorite book it is this one I read when I was young called The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavander. It was about a girl who was born with wings, in a lineage of odd people who disappeared or died before she was born but somehow explains how she is. And it is about her sorrows. Writing this makes me want to read it again, if you have the time take a gander but fair warning it will change how you think about the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love to swim, but unfortunately my worst fear is to not know what is beneath me. Like in deep water that I can't see the bottom of. As a kid I would cry and scream trying to in lakes or rivers whenever it was my time to get in because I couldn't bear to be alone in there. I still feel that visceral fear when swimming, but every time I jump in anyway. Not letting the fear stop me. That I feel puts me in awe every day, awe of myself and my capability.
Teach, Learn, Share
There is a plant here in the United States called Plantain (not the fruit but the weed) that has medicinal properties that removes toxins from bug bites. The most amazing thing is that it grows absolutely everywhere, in sidewalk cracks, grass patches, forests, anywhere really, and it really does take the itch away from most bites!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I work hard and am willing to learn anything. Project that you need help with? Good listener for all of your woes? Someone to help weed the garden? I am your person, I hope I can be a help not a hindrance in the time that I am with you whether it's a day or a week. I have a wide range of skills that definitely need honing but I would be happy to expand them and learn from anyone I stay with, as well as teach my own traditions and knowledge that I do know.
