ABOUT ME

Born and raised in an isolated, small town on the island of Maui, Hawaii, i grew up surfing, dancing hula, running barefoot in the tropical forests, fishing, raising farm animals for food with my family, living off the land, but I also did theater, have always loved reading, and knew that I wanted to leave Hawaii and travel. My first step to accomplishing that was going to UC Santa Barbara, and now studying abroad in Brazil. I mention all this because I think it has had a lot to do with who I am today. My major is global studies and international relations, which is really broad, but it has allowed me to take a wide range of classes. I enjoy learning about different cultures and share a little bit of my own:)

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to believe that whatever I do will someday take me back to the community that helped me grow and give back to that community.

Having just become apart of the CS community, right now I am looking for hosts during my 2 weeks of travel in Rio and Costa Rica before returning back to the US.

Interests

Surfing, reading, writing poetry, dancing outdoors, drinking good tea or coffee, hiking, hunting, swimming, jumping off of high rocks into fresh water ponds, camping...and open to soo much more!
