I'm a very laid back person with a lot of ambition. I'm really easy going and a generally very positive person. I'm definitely an optimist, but also a realist. I love French, art, and philosophy. I love researching and I'm always looking up something to learn about. I have lived in 6 different cities in the US and will be moving to a 7th upon my return to the US. I am a currently a language assistant in Besançon, France. I have been living here since September and will be here through May.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn about other cultures and experience the other side of Couchsurfing: adventures! I've hosted about 10 people in the past, so I would like to share my past experiences as a host (all wonderful) as well as create my own new experiences.

Interests

Learning- about everything! In particular I love history, foreign language, art, and philosophy
Talking- I love communicating! It's such a vital aspect of life.
Walking- everywhere. anytime! As long as I have on a good pair of shoes there's no telling how long or far I can go.
Cooking- I revel in preparing tasty things. I have so much fun in the kitchen with a glass of wine and some tunes!
Eating- because someone has to eat all of my fantastic kitchen creations!
Drinking- love craft beer and regional wine. I enjoy sitting and chatting over some booze.
Sightseeing- particularly museums and picturesque natural sites.
Language- I love foreign languages! They're so important to understanding other points of view.
