Hello everyone!

I'm Lluís, a Barcelona native who likes to have new challenges in life, because trying to meet them is the way I feel happy. I am an Industrial Engineer and since last October I live in Germany because I wanted to have the experience of working abroad and Germany felt like the place to go.

I consider myself an open-minded person, I like to meet new people, and I always try to keep good vibrations with everyone. I also like sports, I have played football all my life, but I am also a big fan of road cycling and I really like to walk in the mountains.

Going to the cinema or theatre is also one of my favourite pastimes, or just staying at home reading a good book. Travelling is one of my other passions, my last trip was to Turkey, an incredible country with many things to offer.

Someday I would like to learn to play the piano, but if I take into account my musical skills, I think it will be very difficult...

So I'm looking forward to meeting new people and discovering new stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I still don't have much experience in the use of Couchsurfing, but the times I've used it have left me very satisfied. It gives you the opportunity to visit a new country and a new culture from the hand of a native. This means that you can deepen in the culture you are visiting much better than going to a hotel. To me, it's incredible the feeling of being with someone you met an hour ago and it seems like you've been friends all your life. And Couchsurfing allows you to live this kind of experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific style of music that I prefer over others. I could say different singers or bands that I like, but as you probably already know them all, I'll just point to my favourite Catalan group, Manel, so that you have the opportunity to discover them.

I also love watching movies or going to the cinema, among all the movies I like I will choose "Catch me if you can" and "The pianist".

And I recently read The Truth about Harry Quebert, I recommend it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if other people would consider these experiences incredible or not, but at least I spent an incredible amount of time doing it and I'm very proud to have done so.

I have walked all over the Pyrenees in 22 days, it is not only a good experience for the landscapes but also for all the people who are in your way.

I also went from Barcelona to Paris (one of my favourite cities) by bicycle with a friend.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself an optimistic, happy and open-minded person, who like to meet new people. So, at least, I can share with them a proper chat and I hope a good beer.
