ABOUT ME

It all started few decades ago on a sunny island called "Curacao". From there I move to the Netherlands, grew up in a small city surrounded by flat farmlands. Few years later when became a student my passion to travel, and meet foreign cultures got a positive spark. This happened on a summer university organized by AEGEE. From that time on I started hitch-hiking a bit, and attended a several more AEGEE events. Guess I will be traveling a lot more in the future, and you might just find me on your couch one day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended several meetings, surfed a bit, hosted some, and met many great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Originally signed up to couch surfing because of an Eastern Europe hitch-hike adventure. However due to last minute planning only made minimal use of it.

In Eindhoven, Enschede and Ghana I really experienced the potential of this amazing network.

Attended a funeral ceremony in Ghana where I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of the people there.
