ABOUT ME

I grew up in small suburbia and am now attending University in West Virginia in the US. I will graduate in May 2011 with a BS in design studies and I work as an independent photographer. Check out my website or facebook page: L. Renee Photography. I studied abroad in London in the spring of 2010 and it was life-changing. I plan to do a lot more world travel. I love people, places, and adventure. I also take my camera everywhere. There's no worse feeling than not being able to capture something you want the whole world to see.

I'll give anything a listen. my favorites are probably incubus, conor oberst (bright eyes), billy joel, muse, etc. I have a long list of books I want to read because of recommendations.. so I'm very open to more. My favorites thus far are ishmael, slaughterhouse 5, and galapagos.

Teach, Learn, Share

I haven't used an automatic setting on a camera since I was 16. I'm always happy to help people with the technical aspects of photography. It's a bummer to not have captured a hell of a moment because of technical oversight.
