ABOUT ME

I guess the most interesting thing about me is my circus career which I have been professional for about 8 years. I have traveled extensively through North America performing and teaching these arts. I am slowly trying to change my career and become more of a fine arts kinda guy. I have started cartooning and have been sculpting masks for four years. I am recently married to been living a year in Montreal just chillin and enjoying the seasons.

PHILOSOPHY

The meaning of life is EXPERIENCE(S). We are here to experience life and reality. If there is a god, (s)he will not pass judgment on us if we destroy our forests or help the old lady across the street. We are here to get the best out of life by choosing our own life. There are certain laws that were created for us to work with, like gravity...or Karma. If you never help the old lady across the street but rather destroy the forest you will never know true happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up to find a couch in Toronto and next the world, but my place is open too. I am willing to invest in an air mattress to accommodate you. Such luxury, such luxury.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I live with an open door policy. I believe in Karma, I will help you and one day I will be helped in return. It is basic goodness that will save our planet. I have slept on many couches (floors, crevasses, bathtubs, hallways)and many people will continue to sleep on mine.

Interests

Experiences period. What doesn't interest me is repetition. If you want to rent a movie one night while you are here, fine. If you rent a movie EVERY night, you are boring. I like to mix it up a little, walks, pub, explorations and hey one night to chillax too. Why not

Music, Movies, and Books

Canadian Indy rock is pretty amazing, this country has never seen a movement quite like this before. I'm listening now to 'The Rural Alberta Advantage'

Any kind of movie. I pay the $$$ for theaters so Hollywood can blow my mind with FX or rent some cool French flix...whatever. I can't figure out how movies can be so great but TV generally suxs. Maybe its the commercials. I just rented 'JCVD' and it was good.

I have a difficult time with Novels. Just make the movie already! I prefer non-fiction or general interest books. Things that I can pick-up up anytime and put down just as fast. I always seem so busy to commit to entire books. I am working on a book 'Drawing Words, Writing Pictures'. A complete lesson on the basics of cartooning

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach what I know. I am performing a lot less and teaching (circus) a lot more. The world is our oyster. I don't know what that means but if it means learn and share well that's all good.
