Having a good start of my study year abroad in Barcelona i intentò tenir l'any millor de la vida meva estudiant en Barcelona!

ABOUT ME

i'm a very relaxed, openminded, but sometimes maybe a bit chaotic person. i don't like planning things to much. Sometimes I just want to be surprised by life.
I try to life for the moment - it's the only time to life in.
Nevertheless I'm convinced we need to care for the future of our planet and succeeding generations. Thus i try to life my life this way - beeing vegetarian, avoiding to go by car or plane, and rather sharing and changing than buying new stuff...
So after I worked in Ghana and did a volunteer year I just recently started to study environmental sciences in Lüneburg, next to Hamburg in Northern Germany. Right now I' just excited to move to Barcelona to study a year abroad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did start to surf a year ago and when I'll have found a new flat in Barcelona I'm gonna think about starting to host, too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a couchsurfing and hitchhiking tour through Germany, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic this summer - and had lots of great CS experiences getting to know the kindest hosts!

Interests

- travelling of course, above all in Africa but i came to love discovering Europe again
- festivals, i love festivals!
- music, i'm into playing the guitar (more or less good, but with passion)
- trying to spend as much time as I can outside under trees
- learning about new ways of living together and reorganizing our society (degrowth... )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- when I did a motorbike-trip in Burkina Faso, we arrived really late in the middle of nowhere. We were exhausted, hungry and did't have a place to sleep. But some village people came out of there house and gave us a place to stay and plenty of delicous food. Never felt so thankful!
- Meeting an old British guy having a "guesthouse" at the border between Mali and Burkina Faso.´He was Living there for about 5 Years, beeing the only white guy in the area. He seemed to be the happiest person in universe just living with the Burkinabè at the edge of the desert.
