My favorite part of travel is meeting new people and getting different perspectives on the world. I take visitors to see the unusual parts of NYC, would love to meet some new friends in other places and do the same!

Attended early morning prayer service at the Saikan temple on top of Mt. Haguro in Yamagata, Japan. The freezing cold morning was a shock after a late night trip from sweltering hot Kyoto, but kneeling on the tatami and seeing the rain pour down and mist roll in through the open temple doors was incredible.
