ABOUT ME

i am avid surfer. have traveled to puerto rico, costa rica, guatemala, el salvador, nicaragua, ecuador, peru, east coast to date...love france, hope to surf in france, spain, morocco and pacific rim in next few years. also love hiking, bike riding, indie radio, skateboarding, hoops, urban exploring, reading. if i'm around when you visit, you're likely to get a tour of all things charleston, a surf lesson or 3, a visit to Angel Oak, and intro to charleston culinary scene.

i am a believer, embrace those of other faiths.

hosting, awaiting opportunities to surf your couch! i love meeting, spending time with new and engaging people, learning new things, sharing what i know and my place in space. i am game for almost anything. although i'm not much of a drinker, love to go out, have fun.

have responded to 98% of messages via CS or email. if you don't email me i'm prolly gonna miss your request.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have hosted a great many couch surfers, all exceptionally agreeable. Collectively and individually, CSers are the most thoughtful and generous people I've ever known. have begun to surf other couches in the past few years, was always hesitant to impose on people until i realized that's why you are a couch surfer! we enjoy entertaining, facilitating, enhancing the travel of fellow sojourners. so i'm trying to put myself out there, stretch my comfort level.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it's all good, but coastal desert and ruinas in peru, volcanos in central america, rafting the grand canyon, bryce canyon, hiking in the appalachians, rhodedendrons on roan mountain, rainbow over cades cove (east tennessee), angel oak (sc), a fogbow in ma, and wisteria on the toogoodoo (sc) are breathtaking. people and experience wise, hitching rides with locals in central and south america, casa particulares in cuba, flea market and pere lachaise cemetery in paris, couch surfing with one wild and crazy guy in new orleans (oh, the places he'll take you!) and on and on and on...
