About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share the beauty of life with others

ABOUT ME

I love to meet people and to explore new places. No matter where in the world. With an open mind I want to learn every day. I enjoy the good times in life, and I try to keep smiling when things don't work out the way I like.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day is a gift. Open it with care and be surprised about what you see. Play with it and share with others.
I don't follow a specific religion, but I feel a connection with the teachings of the Buddha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been travelling a lot around the world, and always loved to stay in hostels or houses where I have close contact with the owners. Someone told me about couchsurfing, and I think that's a great way to meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like to take care for guests in my house, the same way as people around the world took care for me when I stayed in their place.

Interests

I like to eat delicious healthy food. I like to cook, and to taste new things. I prefer vegetarian food, but I'm flexible an can eat anything.
I love being in the nature; walking in the forest, cycling around or enjoying the view from a mountain.
I like to learn languages, and try to speak some words in every country I travel.
Sometimes I just like to be quiet, and do some meditation or yoga. I like to give (and receive) massage.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the kind of books and movies that tell the story of someones life, or have a spiritual meaning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of amazing things while travelling. A special experience was to live in a Buddhist monastery in Nepal for one month. I had a great time there, and learned a lot about life.
I also loved to do volunteer work with kids in Tanzania and Bolivia.
I've been travelling in South-America for 5 months, and I went to Asia many times.
