I'm a single dad of three kids. I've traveled to most of the states and really want to visit all of them by motorcycle and camping. I was active in the military for 10+ years so almost all of my overseas travel has been work related but still amazing experiences with great people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to travel a lot more through the countryside and would love to meet locals in the areas I visit. I'm not the biggest fan of large cities and am not the greatest planner or itinerary builder when it comes to trips, more of a fly by the seat of my pants kinda guy

I've learned that making time for myself is super important to not only my own health but that of my loved ones as well. It's super rewarding sharing the things I enjoy with others as well and seeing them light up with newly acquired skills or experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to all flavors life offers. I listen to a bit of heavier stuff when alone, but I think that's because I'm kinda hard of hearing and I like to feel the beat. I like random books as well, fiction or non-fiction, westerns through sci-fi. Movies haven't really been my thing lately...unless you count Paw Patrol and Bluey. Armageddon 😍.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of all my trips I think El Salvador had the coolest experiences and sights. We climbed volcanoes and "surferd" down em, then that afternoon surfed in the Pacific. And working with the local people was really fun, they took us to a national futbol game and that was a pretty rowdy night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am clean, polite and respectful. I can hangout and share stories or be a quiet dude that leaves you and yours alone. I'll likely be traveling by motorcycle and not staying overly long so I'll take up very little space. I enjoy cooking and if I have time always love cooking a dessert for others, especially if it's something I haven't tried making before.
